I just inadvertently ate a huge container of organic kale that I didn’t wash very well. It wasn’t until I reached the end of the container that I realized the kale was full of black spots. I even found a little half-dead fruit fly sitting at the bottom.
Before I could get grossed out at my oversight, I thought, “This has got to be better than all the chemicals in a lot of food today,” and I felt better.
